libgcroots-dev software package provides Development GC library for sigscheme Scheme interpreter, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgcroots-dev
libgcroots-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgcroots-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgcroots-dev *
You will get with libgcroots-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
